Haunted? Yes, by both residual and conscious ghosts who have much unfinished business.

Investigation Synopsis: EVP every time, Ecto and Orbs- most of the time (not always!), high EMF readings most of the time, equipment failure MUCH of the time!

The residents of this beautiful farmhouse built in the late 1800's, have been kind enough to allow us to invade them a number of times. We consider this to be an ongoing case-study, due to the energies and interactions that continue to take place between the ghosts and the living. There is so much to write about here, but I am going to be as brief as possible.

This property was by all accounts listed as a DLC (Donation Land Claim), possibly by the Denney Family. The first truly known residents of this house were the Neitlings; a photo of them taken in front of the home as it originally appeared is above. Previous residents and neighbors throughout the years, however, have been outspoken and even quite nonchalant about the ghosts. One of the previous owners painted bible verses in one of the upstairs bedrooms- maybe in the hopes that it would exorcise the spirits? The verses are still painted there, but, so are the ghosts.

As for the ghosts, well, let's skip to what you are really here for. We know about at least 2 children (both little girls), 3 women - a native american woman, a compassionate, caring woman, and one who is severely depressed and holds herself responsible for (we believe) the death of one of the little girls. Also present is an older man, and a younger man (younger- in his late 30's or 40's), the latter having quite a sense of humour and loves being a smart ass, the older man, making sure that we all know to "help the children" as he has said this clearly on an EVP that the residents recorded, as well as one that we unfortunately lost when all our hours recording had mysteriously disappeared.

The current residents, after taking some pictures in the backyard area where their dogs and kids were refusing to go near, were shocked to see misty, white forms, and numerous orbs and globules. They went on the internet to try and educate themselves on what these photos might be. It also seemed to them, that the more photos they took out back, the more ecto and vortexes they were receiving. Then one night, they received an unmistakeable apparition of an Indian standing near the fence. It was then apparent that they should bring somebody "paranormal" into their home to help them get some answers, and to possibly help the spirits residing there.

This area of Sublimity is known to be one of the original Indian battle/massacre points that took place throughout Marion County during the 1800's. The residents' youngest child, has mentioned to the parents on more than one occasion about "the brown people."

We have a few names that we have received on EVP. Their ghosts are extremely talkative as well as helpful.

We get EVP every single time we go here. Sometimes more than others, but we ALWAYS get some.

More research needs to be done on this residence and the surrounding property, and we are planning on doing more in the near future.
