Haunted?:
We are sincerely hoping after our 3rd visit that this man and woman have passed
over. We had invited their grown SON back to the house, who listened to our EVP
and shockingly admitted to us that these were the voices of his parents. When
the current owners were shown a photograph of his mom and dad, they gasped as
these were the same people/spirits they had seen in the house.
First
Visit:
April, 2003
We were invited to participate in
this investigation with the awesome members of NW Paranormal Times. Thanks
again guys!!!
The following spirits have been seen or heard by members
of this household:
*A man in his late 40’s/early 50’s, dressed
in black who goes up and down the staircase in heavy boots.
*A woman in her
40’s with her brown hair pulled back up in a ‘bun’.
*3
different unseen children have appeared and/or called out “Gramma”
to one of the members of the household.
The living occupants know
that they share their home with disembodied renters, and are not fearful of them
(in fact, they think it’s pretty darnright cool). The man in black was the
heaviest of the ghostly players we encountered and quite grumpy; the woman watched
us warily, but did privately speak into each group’s recording equipment.
We did not see or feel any of the spectral children at the time of this visit.
There is the name of “Judy” and “Jim” or “Jane
Buyer” written in white chalk in a very high place on the wooden slats of
the barn. It is seemingly in a child’s handwriting. I have to say that it
would be difficult and dangerous for a child to climb up this part of the barn
to write something on the barn’s walls, however, this cannot be ruled out.
The owner (her name being Judy), said that the name of Judy just appeared one
day. (You cannot see the other name without actually climbing up to the side of
the barn). An interesting and physical manifestation if done by the hand of a
spectre, but this, unfortunately, cannot be proven. But, pretty cool, nonetheless.
The man stays in the attic of the house most of the time; we believe
that he was a farmhand back in his day, and that he rented a room here. He was
upset at our presence and made sure we knew that; he felt we were invading his
space as well as screwing up whatever routine he eternally follows. He listened
to us as we spoke of checking out the attic, and promptly went to the 2nd floor
to make sure we didn’t make it that far; cutting the string that hung down
from the attic door, so that there would be no way for any of us to bother him
in his spectral hideaway.

Great Orb pictures out in the middle of the field, and a huge Orb overlooking
our arrival to the Farmhouse before we entered.
We received readings from
the EMF meter, especially outside in the open field.
EVP’s of both
a man and a woman’s voice.
Second Visit:
May, 2003
We were fortunate enough to be invited back to this Farmhouse
in Ridgefield with the NW
Paranormal Times.
Things were quieter and calmer on this visit, and our
main focus was to get into the attic.
We found that not only was the string
to the attic door cut below, but the string on the inside of the door had been
ripped off!
